Richmondville Fish & Game Club
Richmondville, NY
History
The Richmondville Fish and Game Club was started in l932. Monthly meetings are the first Monday of each month at either the Richmondville Municipal Building or High View Camp site.

We are members of the Schoharie Co. Conservation Association where we are involved in fish and pheasant stocking, a display the Schoharie Fair booth and monitor legislative activity.

We are Defender members of the NYS Conservation Council. Along with membership dues we also pay $1.00 per member to NYSCC. If every licensed sportsperson gave the Council $1.00 per month, we would have a strong lobby in Albany. The NYSCC produces the Legislative report and organized the march on Albany each spring.

Past projects were surveying Cobleskill Creek and planting willows to improve the banks, maintaining access to Fancher’s pond, stocking trout an obtaining pheasant release sites.
